Growing up in a working-class family, I used to think that art can only be pursued by rich people who have the money to invest in a seemingly non-practical vocation. Yet despite this, I’ve always believed that this talent was given to me for a reason, and so having met such wonderful people who have encouraged and continue believing in me, I’m very fortunate and grateful to have learned that Art is a fulfilling and worthy path to pursue.
In March 2013, the story that I illustrated, entitled “When the Music Stops”, was published in Issue 2 of Hachi Maru Hachi, a manga anthology, along with two other mangaka. This was a successful collaboration project between me and the writer, named Jordan Takemoto, and the manga anthology itself was very well-received.
I continue to aspire and achieve milestones by working on creative projects, and refining my skill by learning more about art.
